About the Budget

Southern Grampians Shire Council prepares an annual budget that outlines how resources are prioritised to deliver important services, projects and infrastructure to the community.

The 2026/27 Budget will be developed with regard to the Council Plan 2025-2029 , Long Term Financial Plan 2025-2035 , Council's adopted Asset Management Plans, other supporting strategies and your feedback.

Residents who have completed a submission will have the option to speak to their submission at a briefing of Council early in 2026.

Consultation on the budget (surveys and submissions) closed on Friday 9 January. No late submissions will be considered.
