Under the Local Government Act 2020 Council must update it's Asset Management Plan every four years following an election.
Our infrastructure plays a vital role in supporting community wellbeing, local connections, and the liveability of our region. This Asset Plan outlines the overall approach, principles, and objectives that guide decision-making across our asset classes. Its objective is to ensure that our assets deliver maximum value throughout their entire lifecycle and meet the needs of our community. Developing a strategic plan helps maximise the value of Council’s capital investment and streamline operations, supporting the delivery of sustainable services that meet community expectations.
